Bingo Number Nicknames 31-40
Traditional rhyming slang continues with numbers 31 through top 40.
31 – Get up and Run. The term rhyming with the number.
32 – Buckle my Shoe. A term set apart from ‘one two’.
33 – Two Little Fleas; Sherwood Forest, because all the trees is rhyming slang and referring to the forest where.
34 – Ask for More (rhyming slang).
35 – Jump and Jive, Flirty Wives. Both terms are used to rhyme with thirty five. Jump and jive is a rock and roll term.
36 – Three Dozen. Being 3 times 12.
37 – A Flea in Heaven. The three rhymes with flea, the seven with heaven, the two together making up a flea in heaven.
38 – Christmas Cake. Said quickly, thirty eight and Christmas cake rhyme.
39 – All the Steps. This is a reference to the Alfred Hitchcock film entitled ‘The 39 Steps’.
40 – Two Score, or Life Begins at 40. Traditional adage or Naughty 40 rhyming slang.
