The aspect of bingo that makes it such fun and so simple is that the bingo hall caller will give every number a rhyming slang or name.
1 – Kelly’s Eye. Named after the Australian bush ranger Ned Kelly, First on the board or in the beginning.
2 – Little Duck. Me and You. Peek a boo.
3 – One Little Flea. Cup of Tea. Monkey in a Tree.
4 – On the Floor. Shut the Door. The One Next Door.
5 – One little snake. Man alive.
6 — Chopsticks. In a Fix. Tom’s tricks.
7 – Hockey Stick, because of the shape; Lucky Seven; God’s in heaven; David Beckham — rhyming.
8 – One Fat Lady, because of the shape; At the gate or Pearly Gate.
9 – Doctor’s Orders.
10 – Downing Street, being the British Prime Ministers’ residence; Big Fat Hen; Cock and hen or Uncle Ben.
