Bingo Numbers Nicknames 71-80
There is no shortage of descriptions for the bingo caller to use even as the numbers climb over 70. Many of the descriptions throughout are based on making each digit in to a cartoon drawing of people, animals, or other things.
Numbers in the seventies are described as being lucky as seven is traditionally a lucky number.
71 – Bang on the Drum; Lucky One.
72 – A Crutch and a Duck; Par for the Course (golf term).
73 – Crutch with a Flea; Lucky Three.
74 – Candy Store; Grandmamma of Bingo; Lucky Four.
75 – Granddaddy of Bingo; Lucky Five.
76 – Trombones and Lucky Six.
77 – All the Sevens; Two Little Crutches; The Double Hockey Stick; Lucky Seven.
78 – Heaven’s Gate; Lucky Eight.
79 – Lucky Nine.
80 – Gandhi’s Breakfast; Eight and Blank or Eight Nothing. A politically incorrect term as eight is used as a synonym (ate) and the zero as nothing. Therefore, Gandhi ‘ate nothing’ for breakfast.
