Serial Number – This is a code that is printed on the bingo card that allows it to be identified. Usually in a big bingo hall the computer will have a record of all the serial numbers and so when the card serial is called the computer will check validity.
Series – A unique set that is given a number. An example of this would be the 9000 series that has 9000 faces.
Session – This is a name given to a time period of game play. An example could be an evening session in a bingo hall that might start at 7pm and continue till 9pm and all games have been played. A session time varies but normally are between 2.5 hours and 3.25 hours
Shutter Board – A 4 x 4 plastic board that is reusable and that has small shutters the user pulls over the numbers to mark them off.
Six-pack – Six numbers that appear on a single card.
Special – These are unique cards that are bought separate from the standard pack that is sold on admission.
Speed Bingo – This is a game that is usually called during the interval between main games. It is very fast and is played for lines, corners and full house.
Speed Game – A unique game sold separately that is played individually from the other games
