New Online Bingo Twitter Application

Social media micro-blogging platform Twitter has announced the launch of a brand-new online bingo application called TwitterINGO. The application was developed by an interactive marketing agency based in Atlanta. The agency, known as Definition 6, aims to provide Twitter users with the fun and excitement of bingo, through the popular social networking tool enjoyed by millions of users across the world.

Played from the player’s desktop, TwitterINGO is a fun application that is downloaded from Definition 6’s Twitter page. Once the game has been downloaded, players simply need to log-in with their Twitter account details at the designated game time (Tuesday at 3pm EST) to start playing the game.

Similar to bingo, players need to fill rows to win. However, instead of numbers, this application uses keywords taken from followers’ of the players’ tweets. Each player is given a set of 20 keywords to play with, and the first player to fill all of their keywords wins the game. While there are no cash prizes, winners are displayed on the TwitterINGO leader board, and they are also given the ‘I won TwitterINGO’ badge to display on their website, blog or Facebook page.

Twitter fans that are also big on their bingo will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds with this fun bingo game online application for Twitter.
