Online Bingo Games
There are a variety of online bingo games available to players starting with the traditional game, through to Cover All, Combination, Progressive and Pre-called Bingo. Players can choose from either the 75 ball or 90 ball game.
In the traditional 75 ball game, bingo cards used are ones with five columns with five horizontal lines spelling out Bingo. The middle square is a free number.
The object is to daub or mark numbers on the game card off to make a complete line either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. That means matching five winning numbers out of 25.
The 90 ball bingo game card has three horizontal lines and 9 columns. Each column has numbers 1 to 10, 11 to 20, and so on, through to the last column of numbers being 81 to 90.
The Cover All type game is deemed as the simplest. The player has to be the first one to mark all their cards. Your numbers have to be marked before the 41st ball is called.
Combination bingo is when the player is playing more than one bingo game. The first prize may be four corners but if there is already a winner, the next could be a remote square and then the blackout.
Another variation is the Pre Called Bingo game. Conserved or sealed cards are used, so that the player does not know what pre called numbers their cards have. Payouts are much bigger and the games are usually highlights in a playing session.
Progressive Bingo game is when the player is required to have a winning grouping in a predetermined number of calls. If there is no winner it carries over to the next round, thereby becoming progressive. It is one of the most popular online versions.
Another sealed bingo card game is the Odd/Even game. In this game, the pattern is determined beforehand.
Note however that patterned games are ones that the site will set a pattern on the bingo card and players have to match the pattern. The pattern may be an “X”, a “T” or representative of shape like an axe or picnic table.
There are further variants on this with “first ball” call games being one. This is when the first ball called determines if the rest will be odd or even. If the first ball is even then only even number lines on the pattern will win.
