The latest in a string of robberies has occurred in the parking lot of the Bingo Palace in Grand Forks, North Dakota. In this sleepy US town, a woman was robbed at gun point as she was getting out of her car when arriving at her local Bingo hall.

Reports stated that a middle-aged woman was getting out of her car in the parking lot of the Bingo Palace when a man came up behind her, grabbed her shoulder bag and told her that he was taking her purse. When the woman tried to defend herself, the assailant knocked her to the ground and took off with her purse before jumping into a nearby car and driving away.

“We are still looking for witnesses,” said Sgt. Wyatt, who went on to say that no similar robberies had occurred in the area. The women was uninjured, but is said to be traumatised by the event.
